The Last Time…

Everyone prepares you for the pregnancy, The birth and much more.

What they don't prepare you for is the last time you will be in the delivery room.

The last time you will be in labor.

The last time you will hold a newborn baby that you created.

They don't prepare you for all the lasts when it comes to no more kids.

I cried as I was packing everything up after birthing my 3rd and last child. I knew I would never step foot in one of those rooms again for myself.

Labor and delivery is hard, it's exhausting and painful but it is so worth it when that sweet bundle of joy gets put in your arms and you look at those sweet eyes looking at you.

All those firsts are soon to be all lasts you will have.

As you slowly pack up all the bottles once your baby is into sippy cups, Packing all the clothes your baby can't fit in anymore...That's when it sinks in.

Your late night feedings will soon be sleeping all night long granted we enjoy sleep but I know I also enjoyed the cuddle time while everyone else slept.

The crib turns into a toddler bed.

The infant seat turns into a convertible seat.

The formula turns into regular food

And the crawling turns into walking.

Those are all the moments we're not ready for.
